In this week's video, Bishop Richard explores the response of Old Testament king Solomon to God's invitation to 'ask for whatever you want me to give you'.  Solomon asks not for wealth and fame but for 'a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.'  There is perhaps a distinctive Christian equilibrium, found in the balance of true confidence in God and dependence on Him.  Cultivating humility, says Bishop Richard, is the root of wisdom.
