Reflecting on the Gospel accounts of Palm Sunday, Bishop Richard explores why the crowd’s initial warm welcome of the Messiah quickly turned to hostility, but wonders whether we would fare any better, in a culture which arguably makes us equally vulnerable to emotional instability.  How often do we jump to judgement without being in possession of all the facts?

But how does Jesus react to his accusers?  We look to his poignant prayer from the cross: “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they’re doing.”
