Your Church Wedding
Getting married this year or next?Lots of people marry in their own local church, and we are always happy to hear from local people planning a wedding at any of our churches. In St. Weonard's Church we have kitchen and toilet facilities - so why not continue your celebrations with lunch or tea in a marquee in the grounds or in the church? That's just what the couple in the photos at the foot of this page did on a lovely Saturday in 2011!
We know that some people who don't live here at the moment might also like to marry in one of our churches because it has special significance through family or other connections. There are several acceptable conditions which may allow you to do so - we can advise you as necessary.
You'll find all sorts of useful information and resources, including a wedding planner, at the Your Church Wedding website, and of course you can get in touch with to discuss your special day - see the Contact page.
Your Church Funeral
We'll always be here to help you through one of life's most difficult times. A Church of England funeral is available to everyone, giving support before, during and after the service, for as long as it's needed.
